We had a blast on Tuesday, September 23rd, paddling with the great folks from Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital. We had a turnout of around 18 people, total. These were
patients and therapists, along with volunteers. Fun was had by all, and smiles went all around. Besides one person getting wet... all
went perfectly smooth. And event rhough that happened, we say on all these trips, we are all learning as we go. It was a great opportunity to learn how to better the services we offer in the adaptive paddling world. This sport limits us in no way. What a freeing experience it was for those to leave the confines of their wheelchairs and canes, and get onto the same level as everyone else. all just paddler's enjoying a beautiful fall evening on the Kentucky River.
