Canoe Kentucky does not allow any camping on the creek. However, we do have a camping area set aside for our customers.

The "Hidden Hollow" camping area is located 3 miles away from our main location. It is not on the Elkhorn Creek. It is a 20 acre piece of property that is approx. 10 acres wooded and 10 acres open field. The property is away from everything, and has a great abundance of wildlife, including turkey, deer and numerous birds.

This is a primitive camping area, with the only facility of any kind being a Port-a-Potti. There is no electric or water on site.

We have four different sites set up, but you can camp anywhere on the property that you want. The sites can accomodate a group of any size, and are perfect for those wanting to get away from it all.

Being in a hollow, it is recommended that you have an SUV or a truck to access the camping area. We do not recommend taking a car, however, one can get down into the area.

Camping Fees
